Farm Adventure Days are a wonderful time to come explore and play with your kiddos. We will have a variety of opportunities for you to enjoy with them and it will be a great opportunity to connect with other adoptive and foster families during this time. Farm Adventure Days are formatted very differently this year, it is NOT a drop off event. We do recommend you bring helpers if you have a large family and your kiddos will want to do various activities. We will not have volunteers assigned to kids this year, so you are responsible for your kiddos and they do need to be supervised. Please read this thoroughly so you fully understand how to register for the events and what Mondays will look like at the farm this year. Every Monday looks a little differently and needs different registrations.
10am-Noon: Parent Connection
This will be a casual time for the parents to be in the farmhouse while their children are supervised by volunteers. There will be light snacks, tea, coffee and mini-workshops on most Mondays. This will be a great opportunity to develop some deeper connections and gain some additional support and education. Parents do need to stay at Bien Aime Farm, it is not a drop off. Registration is required!
Noon: Picnic lunch with your kids
Please bring your own lunch and labeled water bottles. No lunch will be provided this year.
Noon-4pm: Explore the farm with your kids
There will be a variety of activities each Monday such as art, music therapy, archery, wood working, and times to meet the animals. Registrations are needed for many of those. If you simply want to come and play, we always have a lot to keep people busy with the playgrounds, ropes course, zip lines, sand box, barn, etc.
2-4pm: Open Pool
There will be no lifeguard on duty- so life jackets are required for anyone who is not a strong swimmer. Please bring towels, sunscreen, etc.
Keep in mind…
If you don’t want to participate in any specific activities, you do not need to register. Just come!
If your kids are interested in any activities or you want to come to Parent Connection- registrations are needed or we can not guarantee we will have the supplies/volunteer space for your child.
Parking will only be allowed in the first driveway. You can enter through the side gates. No parking will be allowed in the main gates so we can ensure everyone is safe as they run around.
