Horse Camp with Evermore Community is held at Bien Aimé Farm and will be a great opportunity for your child to learn more about horses, how to care for a horse, and participate in fun Equine activities while having a great time in small groups with other kids in adoptive and foster families. The kids will be organized in small groups supervised by volunteers and will rotate to various activities throughout the day. Planning is still in the works, but we will be learning and performing techniques such as riding, brushing, saddling, ground work, and maneuvering a horse through an obstacle course. We will also cover horse care, general breeds, and horse communication signs. Once your child is registered, you will receive a confirmation email. We will send out an informational email closer to the camp start date with more details about what will be happening at camp so you can prepare your kiddos.
Because this is a special Horse Camp, please only register your child if they can attend all 4 days so they can build on different skills throughout the week and we know exactly how many kiddos to count on, what we need for volunteers, etc.
Definitely let us know if you have any specific questions that aren't answered here!
